Well, it has been a while since I last wrote and honestly I can't remember what I wrote about. So, let's just start with the birth of my precious baby girl Heidi. She was born on July 29, 2011 at 10:51 and she was 7lbs 9 ounches and 19 1/2 inches long (although the doctor measured different the monday after we were released). At a few days under her being 7 weeks old she was 11 lbs 5 ounces. So I guess you could say she is eating well since she has already almost doubled her birth weight. Not only that but when she was not even a week hold and she had already gained back her birth weight and then some. She is growing like crazy and doing so well. She has acid reflux really bad and we had a choking incident while we were still in the hospital. At her first well baby visit she was put on an antacid to help with the discomfort from it and it has helped tremendously. Recently she has gotten colicky in the evening but thanks to an AMAZING friend of mine we are now combating that. She gets a nightly dose of gas drops after her dinner feeding to help break up the gas that is built up in her tummy and she gets swaddled. I stopped swaddling her before I brought her home from the hospital like I did Charlie, but starting to do it again has stopped her from being so fussy. She eats better at night and is a much calmer baby. Speaking of my little angel she was swaddled and put in her swing with the white noise app playing about an hour ago and she took a little nap that she is waking up from. So that is an update on her.
Charlie is doing amazing. My little man is not talking yet but he is starting to try out some words. It makes it hard since he isn't talking yet but we are getting through it. I can not believe my little man is almost 16 months old. In 2 months help be 1 1/2 years and only half a year from 2. My babies are growing up. :-( I cannot believe how fast time is going. Charlie is 25lbs now. :-)
Lets see....So an update on me. I started school in the middle of August again and I am going full time. It's hard because I am not used to 4 classes online completely but I am getting in a routine with it finally. I got my first order from my spare time business on Monday. I am super excited about this and hope that it is a sign as to what is coming. :-) It was for an order of 3 small potholders and 3 large potholders. I finally finished the 3 small potholders tonight and I am getting ready to begin the 3 large. The difference in size is the large are meant for your baking dishes and cookie sheets. I know for me I would prefer to have one item to pull out to put down for those instead of having to get 2 potholders out. That is just me. Well, I guess that is a quick update as I need to get back to my little one before she gets upset. Have a good night/day!! :-D
